Art Therapy
for Teens
& Adolescents
Your teenager doesn't have to find the words. In art therapy, the image speaks for them — without judgment, without pressure, without the expectation of performance.
What I Can Help Your Teen With
Particularly powerful for experiences that have resisted words or conventional approaches alone.
Why Creative Therapy
Reaches Young People
For many teenagers, being asked directly how they feel can become a barrier in itself. The creative process removes that barrier entirely — when the hands are busy making, the emotional world often opens more safely and honestly than words alone allow.
Art therapy works with the whole young person — not just their behaviours, but the depth of who they are and who they are becoming.
The image knows things the mind
has not yet found words for.

How a Session Works
Sessions are 60–90 minutes. All art materials are provided. No experience needed.
A brief, gentle check-in — sometimes breathwork or a short meditation — bringing your teenager quietly into themselves.
Into the art-making — paints, collage, clay, drawing. No instruction. No right or wrong. Simply begin and notice what emerges.
We explore together what arose — gently, without judgment. Your teenager leads. They leave with something real.
What Parents
Need to Know
Before your teenager's first session, I offer a complimentary parent consultation — a chance to share what you've noticed and feel settled about the process.
Sessions are confidential. Your teenager's privacy is fully respected — this confidentiality is what makes it possible for the work to go where it needs to go.
Available in person in Sydney and online via Zoom, across Australia and globally.
